Merry Christmas everyone, sorry for the lack of updates, but im back and ready to update. First things first, ECCGrounds is in the Finals for the second year in arow, and they will take on T & A. Once again Rowe's Pigskin Pros finishes first overall, and once again like 2002 is eliminated in the first round by the number 4 seed. Also, the number one scoring team in the league, Killer B's is elimated by the always consistent ECCGrounds. Congratulations to the winners in the Semi's, and good luck in Bagger Bowl IV. Tiki Barber helped out the most on offense getting T & A to the finals with 26.95 Pts. He had 220 yds for 2 TDs, and 5 catches for 29 yds.

Zach Thomas gave ECCGrounds an extra spark in becoming the Semifinals Defensive MVP with a solid 5 points. He had 6 tackles and a fumble recovery.

What a finish to the 2005 regular season, a the a playoff spot came down to the wire. The story was that Killer B's had to beats ECCGrounds to get in, because he was so far ahead in points, he did fall short of the the record for points in year though. The Flashes needed a Killer B's loss, and a win. Killer B's was up about 6 points going into the monday night game, in which the Killer B's had Deangelo Hall. Hall strips Joe Horn and returns it for 20 yards, giving Killer B's 4 points early on. Than comes a couple tackles and he is now around 2 points down and needs 4 more tackles. Brooks drops back and ohh he throws to DeAngelo Hall!!!, he starts running it back 10..5.. touchdown!! its over, no wait there is a flag. Wouldn't you know roughing the passer on DeMarrio Williams, its not over, wait a a minute Williams is on the Flashes. Could this be a plot by The Flashes to keep Killer B's out of the playoffs haha. So no win yet. A few more tackles come and Hall seems to be hurt, hes taken to the locker room, i guess it might be over with the Saints down by like 20 points, they aren't going to risk him going back in are they? Well Hall comes back and he needs on more tackle to win the game for the Killer B's to secur a playoff spot. 3rd & 4, around 3 minutes to play the Saints with the ball, Brooks drops back to pass, throws to his reciever on the right side, Hall is right behind him, ohh it sails over his dead, almost. It all comes down to this 4 & 4 with around 2 and a half minutes left. Brooks drops back, pass complete over the middle, there's Hall, tackle number 6!! its over, what drama to secure a playoff spot, i love it! Well with this happening Killer B's secures a playoff spot the 3rd spot because he had more points than T & A who he tied with at 8-6 gets the 4th seed. At the top of the standings is a familiar site. Rowe's Pigskin Pros for the fourth year in a row ends the season on top with a 10-4 record and takes on T & A in the semifinals of the playoffs. With a loss to Killer Bs in the final game ECCGrounds drops to 9-5 and takes on the team he just lost to Killer B's in a 2-3 mathup. Just falling short of the playofffs, the Flashes who one there final game, didn't get enough points the whole year to overcome Killer's B's offensive onslaught. Also falling short a game, because Employee Of The Month would have had more points than T & A in a tie. Employee Of The Month finished 2nd overall in points and didn't make the playoffs, which is a first for that, in the 3 previous years in this league, the top 4 teams in points have made it to the playoffs, not this year. Employee Of The Month did win the final weekly payout with 121.72 points which is the most scored this year by a team in a week. MVP of Week 14 the final week in our season was Rowe's Pigskin Pros Larry Johnson. He had 143 yards for 3 TDs, and also 3 catches for 28 yards giving him 28.05 Pts.

I just had to give DeAngelo Hall a piece of the Defensive MVP for Week 14 with what he did on monday night to help Killer B's get into the playoffs. The orginal MVP of Week 14 is Lofa Tatupa of the The Flashes with 3 tackles, a sack, and a INT good for 9.50 Pts. Hall is the co-Defensive MVP with 7 tackles, a Forced Fumbles, and a Fumble Recovery good for 7.50 Pts and good for a Killer B's playoff spot.

December 6 Update

One more Week to go, and its as even as ever at the top of the standings. The top 4 teams in the league lost in Week 13, and as a result there could be a three way tie for 1st place with points determining their slots in the playoffs. For the final playoffs spot, Killer B's has to win and they are in, but with a loss to ECCGrounds in Week 14 they will not make the playoffs, if The Flashes pull off a win over The Dragons. Speaking of Killer B's, its looks like their pursuit of the all time points record is going to fall short. The B's need 117.24 to break the all time record set by Rowe's Pigskin Pros last year. Take a look at the league leaders after Week 13 HERE, with one more week to go it looks like its neck and neck with LT, and Shaun Alexander for the league's MVP honors. All the roster updates are done, and i will have the final week's matchups later in the week. AJ's All-Stars took the weekly payout this week squeaking it out with 102.04 Pts. just getting past Employee Of The Month with 98.32. Employee Of The Month had alot of help with both MVP's for Week 13. Chris Chambers had a career game on the offensive side of the ball with 24.40 Pts. He had 15 catches for 238 yds and a TD, he also had a fumble lost for -1.

On the Defensive side of the ball for Employee Of The Month, Rhonde Barber took the MVP for Week 13 with 3 INTs, and 5 Tackles.

December 1 Update

Roster Moves, 2005 League Leaders HERE, and Week 12 Updates all complete, be back tommorrow with the Week 13 matchups

November 29 Update

The Playoff Picture is getting alittle clearer as the two trying to get into the fourth playoff spot lost, The Flashes and Employee Of The Month. Employee Of the Month against the weekly payout winner, Killer B's, yet again for the 5th time this year, a record and he's also approaching the most points in a year ever (180.3 behind). Congratulations to ECCGrounds, and Rowe's Pigskin Pros who both clinched a playoff spot in Week 12. This is ECCGrounds second consecutive playoff appearance, and this is Rowe's 4th straight playoff appearance, all have been at number 1 seeds, amazingly. Both teams are in line to tie for the most wins in a season at 11 set by Rowe in '02, '04. The MVP of Week is none other than LaDanian Tomlinson, the third time this year with 31.65 Pts, ,good for 8th All-Time, leading Killer B's over Employee Of The Month. He had 184 yds rushing with 3 TDs, and also adding 6 catches for 29 yds.

Keith Bulluck of T & A was the Week 12 Defensive MVP with 7 Tackles, and a INT good for 7.50 Pts.

November 23 Update

League Leaders for 2005 Updated HERE, also ive got all the rosters done, and the week 11 updates are complete!!

November 22 Update

Rowe's Pigskin Pros finally squeezes through and is now in first place, after Employee Of The Month took the highes score of the week (105.12) and beat ECCGrounds. T & A, Killer B's, and The Flashes get wins to keep pace and are in good position for the playoffs. ECCGrounds win streak of 5 moves him into 4th place in win streaks overall. The MVP for Week 11 is Mike Anderson of T & A, who scored 25.95 Pts. Ran for 113 yards, 3TDs, and 3 catches for 16 yards.

The Defensive MVP for Week 11 was Employee Of The Month's Jonathan Vilma. He had 12 tackles, and a forced fumble good for 8 Pts.

November 20 Update

Sorry for the lack of updates again, busy school week, but here is the Week 11 Match-Ups, the Week 10 update is complete, still in the process of doing the league leaders, and updated rosters, they will be done by the end of the day.

Rowe's Pigskin Pros, and ECCGrounds keep winning, and are now both 2 games up of T & A, and 3 games up with the rest of the pack, with four games to go, they have a pretty good of securing 1 and 2 in the playoffs, its just the question of who will get the number 1 seed. There are 2 5-5, and 4 4-6, so the maybe the 3rd, and defintely the 4th playoffs seed is still up for grabs. T & A had to have the most points for Week 10 with 107.06 to beat the second most points in the week with The Flashes 97.18. Shaun Alexander ads yet another MVP to his resume, with 27.20 Pts. He had 165 yds, with 3 TDs, and 1 catch for 9 yds.

Defensive MVP for Week 10 was Mike Peterson of T & A with one of the highest point totals for a defensive player ever. He had 10 tackles, a Sack, and an INT with a TD return.

November 8 Update

ECCGrounds and Rowe's Pigskin Pros further distance themselves from the pack and now are both 7-2. That pack right now is anybody's game, there are 2 5-4 teams, and 4 4-5 teams! Even 3-6 Employee Of The Month is still in it with 2 games back with 5 games left. Killer B's had an impressive week scoring 112.10 wining the weekly payout yet again and going over 100 points for the 4th time this year, hes bound to break the record for points in a year. His 112.10 Pts. this week puts him at 10th for points in a week All-Time. He had lots of help from his number 1 pick LT. The MVP for Week 9 was LaDanian Tomlinson who had 107 rushing yards with 3 TDs, and 3 catches for 46 yards and another TD good for 33.15 Pts. That total is good for a tie at 5th All-Time in scoring for a player in a game.

The Defensive Player of the Week was Chris Gamble of BuckeyeMike, he had 5 tackles, 2 INT's and a 61 yard TD good for 16.50 Pts.

November 2 Update

Half the season is in the books, and still anyone who is .500 still has a chance with 6 games remaining. The usual suspects Rowe's Pigskin Pros, and ECCGrounds remain at the top at 6-2. AJ's All-Stars won the weekly Payout for Week 8 with 95.04 Pts in his win over Employee Of The Month.  Antonio Gates just missed being on the Top 10 list of all-time points in a game with 30.25 Pts. He had 10 catches for 145 yards and 3 TDs. Just a reminder this is a TE, hes not suppose to put up those numbers haha.

The Defensive MVP of Week 8 is Antonio Pierce of AJ's All-Stars. He had 7 tackles, and an INT good for 7.50 Pts.

Just a reminder i still need money from :

KardiacKids (60.00)
Rowe's Pigskin Pros (60.00)
T & A (30.00)

please try to get this in as soon as you can.

Also here is the updated League Leaders for 2005 right HERE

With a lost by ECCGrounds, The Flashes, and Rowe's Pigskin Pros pulled even at 5-2 for a 3 way tie for 1st place. Rowe's Pigskin Pros take the weekly payout for Week 7 with 95.70. Lamont Jordan of the KardiacKids helped The Kids to their 2nd win of the year with 28.10 Pts. He had 28 rushes for 122 yards and 3TDs, he also contributed 4 catches for 40 yards.

In Week 7 there was Co-Defensive Players of the Week both scoring 6 Pts. Tory James of The Dragons had a INT, and 4 Tackles, and Roy Williams of Rowe's Pigskin Pros also had a INT, and 4 Tackles

October 18 Update

ECCGrounds seperates himself from the field with his second win in arow to become the only one loss team at 5-1. Killer B's continues his point juggernaut with 110.65, his third weekly payout at this rate he'll be able to get his money back by the end of the regular season. Big Week for RB's, 4 backs scored over 20 Pts. (Edge, Alexander, Tomlinson, and Holmes) ECCGrounds had both MVPs, the Offensive MVP was no surprise Shaun Alexander who rushed for 141 yds, 4 TDS, and 1 Catch for 1yd good for 31.60 Pts.

Zach Thomas of ECCGrounds is the Defensive Player of the Week with 9 Pts. He had 10 Tackles, and a Forced Fumble.

October 12 Update

The last remaining undefeated team has fallen as The Flashes lose to The Dragons. The two last winless teams also came up with a win, Employee Of The Month outlasts T & A, and KardiacKids beat AJ's All-Stars. ECCGrounds came up with the high score for Week 5 with 104.64 his second time over the century mark this season. Terry Glenn was Week 5's MVP in leading the KardiacKids to there first victory by contributing 21.40 Pts. He had 7 catches for 118 yds and 2 TDs

The Defensive Player of the Week, led Employee Of The Month to his first win, Nick Barnett with 13.00 Pts. He had 6 Tackles, an INT returned 95 yards for a TD.

October 8 Update

Killer B's continue his onslaught, placing in the Top 10 in scoring for the second week in arow this week with 120.62 Pts which is good for the Weekly Payout, and for 4th All-Time Currently. The Flashes stay undefeated at 4-0, but have one of the lowest point totals. Plaxico Burress helped the Flashes stay undefeated with a 27.20 Pt Performance to become the MVP of Week 4. Burress had 10 catches for 204 yds and 2 TDs

Keith Brooking helped Rowe's Pigskin Pros get another win this week with 10 Pts. The Defensive Player of Week 4 had 8 Tackles, a Sack, and a INT.

September 27 Update

Week 3 of the 2005 Season was an interesting week to say the least. First of all 3 players blew up for over 30 points, the first time that ever has been done. Steve Smith had 30.90 for BuckeyeMike, Shaun Alexander had 31.00 for ECCGround who had 105.44 but feel short of the Weekly Payout, and the MVP of Week 3 with the 3rd Best Overall Weekly Performance is Killer B's LaDainan Tomlinson with 34.52. He rushed for 192 yds, with 3 TDs, and had 6 catches for 28yds to give Killer B's The Weekly Payout and 9th Best Score of All-Time with 111.24. ECCGrounds and The Flashes are the only two undefeated teams remaining, interestingly enough ECCGrounds has the most points in the league, while The Flashes have the second least but have played teams that have a average of 57.73 pts. against The Flashes. There are also two teams that haven't won yet, Employee Of The Month, and The KardiacKids.

The Defensive MVP of Week 3 is Dwight Freeney with 10.50 Pts for T & A. He had 5 Solo Tackles, a FF, and 3 Sacks.

September 20 Update

Week 2 is in the books with a couple close games again. T & A emerged as the weekly payout winner with 107.87 Pts. The Dragons had the MVP for Week 2 in Stephen Davis, but couldn't pull out his 2nd victory. Davis had 3 TDs, with 25 carries for 77 Yds Rushing good for 21.85 Pts.

Troy Polamalu helped T & A get the weekly payout with 6 Solo Tackles with 3 Sacks good for 9.00 Pts. to become the Week 2 Defensive MVP.

Good Luck in Week 3!

September 14 Update

Week 1 is in the books, and in a surprise win, The Dragons explode on the scene and take the weekly payout and upset the much hyped Killer B's 90.41 - 75.20. The Dragons also had the MVPs of Week 1 on both sides of the ball. The always solid Jimmy Smith of the Jags took the honor of Offensive MVP in Week 1 with 7 catches for 130 Yds and 2 TDs good for 22.00 Pts.

The Dragons also boosted the Defensive MVP, this week it was two of them. In a feat I don't think has ever been seen in the Red Tail Baggers Fantasy Football, The Dragons had two defensive players who scored a TD a piece good for both 13.50 Pts. The Defensive Co-MVPs for week 1 was Jason Taylor of the Dolphins, and Darren Sharper of the Vikings. Jason Taylor had 3 Solo Tackles, a Sack, a Forced Fumble, a Fumble Recovery that he returned 85 yards for a TD. Darren Sharper had 7 Solo Tackles, and an INT he took 88 yds for a TD.
