ANDRE JOHNSON POWERS TEAM HYLA PAST RED TAIL BAGGERS IN CLOSET PRO BOWL EVER

Andre Johnson's game high 26.40 points make him the Pro Bowl MVP by leading Team Hyla over Red Tail Baggers. The score is the very closest it can get, and have never seen a score so close. The final score of the 2008 Pro Bowl was 100.28 - 100.27. Wow what a sqeaker, the victory for Team Hyla is only their 2nd win in this the 5th annual Pro Bowl. Other big games from Team Hyla had Larry Fitzgerald putting up 23 pts. On ther other side, Red Tail Baggers, Drew Brees had 24.72, and Calvin Johnson put up 23.60 pts, but was not enough as they lost by .01.

Well their ya have it, be sure to check out your team pages for players that you will be able to keep. Look that over and also the 2009 draft order listed on your team page as well. So good luck the rest of the year, and hopefully we will have some offseason activity. Happy New Year

Dec 23 Update

ON THE LEGS OF DeANGELO WILLIAMS, KARDIAC KIDS WINS 1st TITLE

DeAngelo Williams huge 31.40 performance led #1 seed Kardiac Kids to the 106.97 - 81.48 victory over Employee Of The Month in Bagger Bowl VII to become 2008 Red Tail Bagger Fantasty Football Champion. The win is his 1st Bagger Bowl title, with the loss, Employee Of The Month has now lost his last two Bagger Bowl appearances. DeAngelo helped out alot, but there were also great performances by some unsung heroes as in Ted Ginn Jr.'s 11.75 pts, and Stephen Gostkowski's 13 pts. The Kids got the usual production from Drew Brees (16.87), Matt Forte (12.05), and Tony Gonzalez (12.70). But as was said perviously DeAngelo Williams was your Bagger Bowl VII MVP with 108 yards rushing and scoring 4 TDs on his way to his 31.40 pt performance. I have not done any searching for records but that has to be the top performance by a player in a Bagger Bowl. I will get to this later after the pro bowl on what i intend to do with the records section. Employee Of The Month got some quality games from a few of his players like Peyton Manning (21.33), Reggie Wayne (16.90), Isaac Bruce (12.55) and finally, Jason Witten (12.85). But all those quality games could not be account for the inactivity of his 3 best players. Thomas Jones, Adrian Peterson, and Andre Johnson only scored a combined 12.70 or so and was Employee Of The Month's undoing. Congrats once again to Kardiac Kids!

ECCGROUNDS TAKES 3RD PLACE WITH THRASHING OF SPIDER MONKEYS

In the 3rd place game, ECCGrounds stuck it to Spider Monkeys 103.22 - 36.10. Marques Colston was the leading scorer with 21.45, and 5 other players were in double figures to lead ECCGrounds to 3rd place. And also one last shot out to Rowe's Pros who took the Toilet Bowl 109.54 - 68.09 over The Flashes. Rowe's Pros probaly would have won Bagger Bowl VII had he gotten into the playoffs, scoring the most points in both weeks of the Bagger Bowl Playoffs. Better luck next year I guess, as well as all who lost their last game. Starting tommorrow i will begin putting out the Pro Bowl Rosters so come back tommorrow and after Christmas Day i will be coming back with the remaining Pro Bowl Roster. Stay Tuned....

Dec 15 Update

ANDRE JOHNSON LEADS EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH TO BAGGER BOWL VII

Andre Johnson's huge game of 26.85 was more than enough to take Employee Of The Month over #3 seed ECCGrounds 93.16 - 69.34. The win takes Employee Of The Month to Bagger Bowl VII, his 3rd ever Bagger Bowl appearance, the loss puts ECCGrounds in the 3rd place game. Andre Johnson's 26.85 was enough to give him the title of MVP of the Semi-finals. He had 11 catches for 207 yards and 1 TD. HIs performance with Peyton Mannings 12.51 pts, Thomas Jones 11.10, Adrian Peterson's 10.25, and Reggie Wayne's 10.70 was to much for ECCGrounds. Dominic Rhodes put in a heroic effort for ECCGrounds with 19.80, along with Marques Colston's 13.20 pts put ECCGrounds at 69.34. The loss for the Grounds is his 1st playoff loss after 4 previous wins, while the win puts Employee Of The Month at 4-5 all-time.

CALVIN JOHNSON LEADS KARDIAC KIDS TO BAGGER BOWL VII

Calvin Johnson's 17 point performance for the Kardiac Kids was the difference as #1 seed Kardiac Kids beat #4 Spider Monkeys 79.64 - 61.10. The win puts the Kids in Bagger Bowl VII against Employee Of The Month, and the loss puts the Monkeys in the 3rd place game against ECCGrounds. This will be Kardiac Kid's first finals appearance and the win puts his playoff record at 1-2, the loss puts the monkeys at 2-3 all-time in the play-offs. Taking a deeper look at the game, Drew Brees, Matt Forte, Tony Gonzalez, and DeAngelo William's all scored over 10 points to truely give a team effort for the Kardiac Kids. Another big game from Antonio Bryant (17.40) and a 10 point performance from Marshawn Lynch was not enough for the Monkeys.  Now looking at the Bagger Bowl VII, and the 3rd place alittle deeper, with more to come later on the week with the official preview:

Good luck to the participants in next weekends games, i will be back with another preview for Bagger Bowl VII on wednesday. There will be NO waiver wire period this week, however you must wait until wednesday at noon for any transactions. Stay tuned for further updates...

Dec 9 Update

WOW, ANTONIO BRYANT SHAKES UP PLAYOFFS

All you can say is wow, Antonio Bryant exploded for 31.50 pts to lift the Spider Monkeys into the playoffs. He is the MVP for the crucial Week 14 with 9 catches for 200 yards and 2 TDs, wow Jerry Rice numbers for Antonio Bryant. I honestly thought like most, Spider Monkeys had no chance getting into the playoffs based on the 93 points scored against him by Kardiac Kids, with only Warrick Dunn, and Antonio Bryant down by around 30 points. As I said yesterday i thought Kardiac Kids would be either playing Rowe's Pros or BuckeyeMike in the first round of the playoffs, now we have Kardiac Kids playing the Spider Monkeys. The Monkeys also got their 1st weekly payout in the time they needed it most by racking up 97.13 pts. Again congrats to Kardiac Kids with the highest scoring season of all-time, although he lost he still finished 9-5 to take first place based on points. The Spider Monkeys also finished the 2008 regular season at 9-5, and ended the year with a 4 point win streak needed to get into the playoffs. Before the result of this game, BuckeyeMike was the likely #4 seed if the Kids stayed with the lead considering he had more points than both he and Rowe's Pros. But the loss to Killer B's was the difference, as with just a win he would have been in the playoffs. With not really any importance, ECCGrounds lost to AJ's All-Stars 65.12 - 48.88 to drop ECCGrounds to 9-5 and finish in 3rd based on points, while AJ's All-Stars finished on a high note finishing 4-10. In the games finished yesterday, Employee Of The Month had the defensive team of the week, in the Pittsburgh Steelers. The D had 13 points allowed, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions with one being returned for a TD, and 2 fumble recoveries all good for 13 pts.

ROWE'S PROS OUT OF PLAYOFFS FOR FIRST TIME EVER

Rowe's Pros, the winningist team in Red Tail Bagger History and 2 time champion will be sitting on the bench this year when it comes to the playoffs for the first time ever. With his loss 83.20 - 62.38 to The Flashes, and win by Spider Monkeys Rowe's Pros is out of the playoff. The combined efforts by Steve Smith's 18.35 pts and Jonathan Stewart's 19.75 pts was to much for Rowe's Pros. The Pros finished 8-6 with his lowest position ever at 6th, and The Flashes finished with a strong 3 game win streak at 4-10.

Dec 8 Update

DESPITE WESTBROOK's 27 PTS, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH IN PLAYOFFS

Despite Brian Westbrook's 27.15 pts for T & A, Employee Of The Month got 17 from Peyton Manning, and 13 pts from the defensive team of the Week, the Pittsburgh Steelers, to win 88.04 - 69.08 to clinch a playoff spot. The playoff spot will be either 2nd or 3rd based on what ECCGrounds does. The win improves Employee Of The Month to 9-5 and he will be making his 5th playoff apperance. The loss drops T & A to 4-10 which leads him to nowhere but the toilet bowl. As was said earlier, ECCGrounds is likely to get that 2nd or 3rd spot depending on his outcome against AJ's All-Stars who lead by 15 with John Kasay still left to kick against Matt Bryant and ECCGround's Tampa Bay D. A win will put ECCGrounds in the 2nd spot and a loss will put him 3rd. Regardless we are looking at a Employee Of The Month Vs. ECCGrounds matchup in the first round of the 2008 Red Tail Bagger's Playoffs. In 2004 these teams also faced off in the first round with ECCGrounds getting the win on his way to his 2004 title.

WES WELKER & KILLER B'S LIKELY DERAILS BUCKEYEMIKE'S PLAYOFF HOPES

Wes Welker's 16 pts led Killer B's over BuckeyeMike 80.02 - 67.40 in what likely might derail BuckeyeMike's playoff hopes. Brandon Marshall's 22.05 pts, and Roddy White's 15.2 pts were all for not in this game BuckeyeMike had to win. Although if Rowe's Pros are overtaken by The Flashes who are down by 17 with Jonathan Stewart and Steve Smith, BuckeyeMike could still get in as the 4th seed. With a win by Rowe's Pros he will get the 4th seed and will face the jaggernaut that is Kardiac Kids. Killer B's finished the year at 6-8 with likely finishes him in 7th place, and BuckeyeMike finishes at 8-6. In the final game, The Kardiac Kids have beaten the pervious scoring record set by Rowe's Pros 1269.76 set in 2004, with an astounding 1282.32 pts, the highest ever in a season in Red Tail Bagger History. Congratulations to the Kids, who are likely to finish number 1 overall and are to face either Rowe's Pros or BuckeyeMike. The Kids are also probaly going to receive another weekly payout barring a team emerging from MNF. I will be back tommorrow, with a complete rap up of the 2008 regular season. stay tuned...

Dec 2 Update

ANDRE JOHNSON DOES MORE THAN ENOUGH, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH WINS WEEKLY PAYOUT

Employee Of The Month moved closer to a playoff spot with a 98.65 - 86.71 victory over BuckeyeMike. The result puts both teams at 8-5 and is also BuckeyeMike's 4th loss in arow. The win give's Employee Of The Month his 3rd weekly payout with his 98.65 performance. Andre Johnson only needed 1.5 pts, but came up with 13.25 pts in the monday night game. Employee Of The Month also had the Pittsburgh D which were Week 13's Defensive Team of the Week. The D had 10 points allowed, 5 sacks, 2 interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries, all good for 12 pts.

SLATON AND BROWN OVERTAKE ROWE'S PROS FOR KILLER B's

Steve Slaton's 24.10, and Kris Brown's 11 were more than enough for Killer B's to overtake Rowe's Pros 97.30 - 66.08. The loss is a costly one for Rowe's Pros as currently is out of the playoff's based on points, but is still 8-5 and in a 4-way tie by record so anything can happen. The victory for Killer B's is just his 2nd all-time against Rowe's Pros to his 10 losses. Along with BuckeyeMike, Employee Of The Month, and Rowe's Pros at 8-5, is the Spider Monkeys. Although having the lowest point total, he still has an outside chance with a few losses. His 3 pt victory over AJ's All-Stars 64.90 - 61.09 was a much needed victory. AJ's All-Stars's Josh Scobee could only muster 3 pts and as a result comes a loss.

T & A SHOCKS ECCGROUNDS WITH MVP

T & A shocked ECCGrounds with a 82.59 - 58.88 victory lead by Week 13 MVP, Brian Westbrook. Westbrook had 110 rushing yards along with 2 TDs, and also 3 catches for 20 yards and 2 more TD's to give him 34 pts. The 34 pts by Westbrook is just short of making the top 10 of all-time point performances in a game. The loss by ECCGrounds is a big one dropping him to 9-4 and in second based on points, but with a Week 14 loss, being in the lower portion in points scored might knock him out of the playoffs. In the final game.

Here's an updated look at the standings....

Congrats to the winners of Week 13. With an early look to Week 14, The biggest game between top teams looks to be The Spider Monkeys against Kardiac Kids, but all other games will carry a huge weight as anything can happen with two 9-4 teams, and 4 8-5 teams. Dec 1 Update

FLASHES SHOCK KARDIAC KIDS

In the second last game of the year, The Flashes shocked Kardiac Kids 75.47 - 67.52. The win is on the arm of Tony Romo who had 20.32 for the Flashes on Thanksgiving day. The win despite active Willis McGahee not getting even 1 rush, and double figures by 4 Kardiac Kids. Donald Driver also chipped in 12.65 pts for The Flashes who now have won 2 in row after a big losing streak. The Kids are now 9-4 and most likely to hold onto the #1 spot barring a ECCGrounds loss which looks likely. To update the scoring record, The Kids now have 1188.67 pts, now within 81.90 pts of the record with still Week 14 to go. In other games, Employee Of The Month is still around 1 point down to BuckeyeMike 86.71 - 85.40 with still Andre Johnson still left to go For Employee Of The Month. Can Andre Johnson score 2 pts, im sure he can, be they still need to play the game. The win would put Employee Of The Month at 8-5, along with BuckeyeMike as well and will further clutter the standings going into a huge Week 14 with many playoff complications, but ill have that tommorrow with the complete Week 14 update.

T & A DOING ALITTLE SHOCKING ITSELF TO ECCGROUNDS

On the legs of Brian Westbrook's 34 pts and likely Week 13 MVP, T & A is putting another shocking charge into the league with a 82.59 - 55.98 lead over ECCGrounds. The Grounds still have Kevin Walter, but at around 30 pts down, it is highly unlikely barring a Drew Bennett like game, ECCGrounds will fall to 9-4 and still tied at the top. On a week when most of the top teams played some of the bottom teams, the top of the league got even closer with big Week 14 complications. In other games, Killer B's is another team that can knock off a top team trailing only by 4 points 66.08 - 62.20 to Rowe's Pros with still Steve Slaton and Kris Brown to go, with none left for Rowe's Pros. In the final game, AJ's All-Stars also has a chance to distrup Spider Monkeys playoff hopes down 64.90 - 58.09, needs around 7 pts from Josh Scobee to have yet another upset win in Week 13. In a crazy week, its bound to get even crazier with a few games to be decided when the Houston Texas take on the Jacksonville Jagaurs on Monday Night Football. Stay tuned for the complete Week 13 update tomorrow....

Nov 25 Update

RODGERS NOT ENOUGH FOR BUCKEYEMIKE, ECCGROUNDS NOW IN 2ND

Althought Aaron Rodgers had a huge game with 19.76 pts, it was not enough for BuckeyeMike and his come from behind efforts against ECCGrounds. ECCGrounds had a nice enough 5.80 pt performance from Ryan Grant to get the victory 69.46 - 68.61. This crucial matchup now puts ECCGrounds in second place at 9-3 based on points. Although not yet clinching a playoff spot yet, he's well on his way. The loss is crucial for Buckeyemike who now stands at 8-4 and currently in 3rd place based on points yet there are three teams on his heels, and needs a much needed win next week. ECCGrounds victory over BuckeyeMike was his 7th in arow, which is good for a tie for 2nd all-time in win streaks. ECCGrounds also got help from the Defensive Team of the Week in Week 12 in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs had 14 points allowed, 4 sacks, 1 fumble recovey, and 2 interceptions, 1 which was returned by Rhonde Barber for a TD, which was all good for 11 pts.

Another game that shook up the standings was Rowe's Pros 91.96 - 61.50 victory over Employee Of The Month. The win marks Rowe's Pros 70th all-time, which is the most in Red Tail Bagger's history. The matchup between Rowe's Pros and Employee Of The Month has been dominated by Rowe's Pros 10-3 all-time and now 2-0 in the 2008 season. The win puts Rowe's Pros at 8-4 and now in the playoffs in the 4th spot based on points. The loss puts Employee Of The Month back out of the playoffs despite his second highest point total on the season. Randy Moss's MVP performance of 30.25 points along with Greg Jennings's 17.05 performance proved the differences. Randy Moss had 8 catches for 125 yards and 3 TD all good for 30.25 pts

BREES ADDS TO BIGGEST BLOWOUT OF ALL-TIME

Drew Bree's 24.46 points performance on Monday Night Football was just icing on the cake for an historic game in Red Tail Bagger history. The Kardiac Kids scored 115.21 points, which was good for the Week 12 weekly payout, this his 7th such honor, breaking the record for weekly payouts, now taking in $35.00. His torrid pace continues, and is now only 148.62 points behind the all-time scoring record for a season, doing the math, he needs to average 74.31 pts in the last 2 games. Obviously no one had a chance against this buzzsaw of Kardiac Kids, how about winning by 91 points. Not looking at any history its fair to say that is the biggest blow-out in the history of Red Tail Baggers Fantasy Football. Another record is the fact that AJ's All-Stars only scored 23.93 points, breaking the record for lowest point total in any week all-time. Without the 9 points from Ricky Williams, i don't think anyone would have been able to have that bad of a week in the future. You would have to go back to our very first year of existance in 2002, to Week 4 where Big Diez lost 26.36 - 75.76 to get this, AJ's All-Stars. How about that for being ironic. The win puts Kardiac Kids on top of the league, as he should be with his amazing point total, can he beat the all-time record? In an important one for the Spider Monkeys, Donald Lee had just enough althought he was already winning with 0.90 to beat T & A 53.57 - 50.91 to stay in the playoff picture. The win puts him at 7-5 and now 6th baed on points, but only 1 game from the playoffs. In the final game, The Flashes broke their losing streak to get their 2nd win of the year against Killer B's 80.17 - 59.13. The loss is Killer B's 4h straight, and continues a nose dive from his once plaoff hopes.

Nov 24 Update

ROETHLISBERGER & COMPANY GIVE ECCGROUNDS LEAD

Ben Rothlisberger's 15 point performance on thursday night, leads ECCGrounds to a 63.66 - 48.85 advantage going into monday night over BuckeyeMike. ECCGrounds still has has Ryan Grant, and BuckeyeMike has Aaron Rodgers left to go on Monday Night Football. In other games, Killer B's has a one point lead over The Flashes 59.13 - 58.92, but the Flashes have Lance Moore remaining, and is likely to get his 2nd win of the year.

RANDY MOSS EXPLODES, ROWE'S PROS LIKELY A WINNER

Randy Moss's 30.25 points, likely MVP for Week 12, and likely to lead Rowe's Pros in a huge win right now leading 74.91 - 61.50 over Employee Of The Month. Rowe's Pros still has Greg Jennings, which is likely to pile it on even more. Probaly the big difference in the game is the matchup of running backs, top 5 players, Adrian Peterson, and Frank Gore combine for 12.10 points for Employee Of The Month against Rowe's Pros 19.90 points from Melwede Moore, and Tim Hightower, who would have thought it? In the remaining games, T & A is likely to lose to Spider Monkeys down 50.91 - 52.67 with no players left, and with the Monkeys having Donald Lee remaining. In the final game, Kardiac Kids are whopping AJ's All-Stars 90.75 - 22.98 with still Drew Brees left to play against Devery Henderson. With the point total the Kids have already it looks they are well on their way to putting up the most points ever in this league in a season. Pretty much the only game yet to be decided is the biggest game of the week, the BuckeyeMike, ECCGrounds matchup, but the lead is still 15 so who knows. stay tuned for the complete Week 12 updates tommorrow.....

Nov 18 Update

MARSHAWN LYNCH SAVES SPIDER MONKEYS SEASON FOR NOW, BUCKEYEMIKE OUT OF FIRST

Marshawn Lynch's 21.85 performance was the difference and possibly has saved the season for Spider Monkeys as they pull away 80.15 - 69.64 over BuckeyeMike. BuckeyeMike falls to 8-3 and is now 2nd based on points now behind Kardiac Kids. Spider Monkeys are now 6-5 and are still 1 game away from the 4th seed with 3 games to go. In the other big game of the week, ECCGrounds which was in the lead going into Monday night football, still comes out with the lead to beat Rowe's Pros 70.29 - 52.98 which drops Rowe's Pros to 7-4 and currently in 5th based in points, 1 spot away from a playoff spot. ECCGrounds is now in a 3 way tie record wise at 8-3, and is in 3rd based on points. The win came with the MVP, and defensive team of the Week for Week 11 with Joseph Addai, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Joseph Addai had 105 yards rushing for 1 TD, and also had 4 catches for 48 yards and another TD all good for 23.65 pts.

ECCGrounds defense, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers only alloweed 13 points, had 5 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries which was good for 9 points.

BRAYLON EDWARDS LEADS T & A OVER AJ'S ALL-STARS

Braylon Edwards 11.20 pts lead T & A from behind to beat AJ's All-Stars 59.65 - 56.27. The result puts both teams now at 3-8. Finally, Kardiac Kids took the weekly payout with its 92.92 point performance in Week 11, which now ties him for the record for most weekly payouts at 6 winning $30.00 on the year. Another record is also in reach for the Kids, who now have scored 1000.95 points on the year, which puts him just 269.81 points behind the all-time lead in points scored for year. Kardiac Kids must average 89.6 in the last 3 games in order to achieve this feat. Last year Employee Of The Month took a run at Rowe's Pros record but came up just short in the last game of the year, can Kardiac Kids come through and finish 1st all-time in points, as well as getting the number 1 seed for the playoffs?

HOUSHMANDZADEH LEADS KARDIAC KIDS TO WIN, LIKLEY WEEKLY PAYOUT RECORD

TJ Houshmandazdeh led Kardiac Kids in scoring with 21.45pts as the Kids improve to 8-3 with the 92.92 - 87.18 victory over Killer B's. The B's had big games from Dwayne Bowe (18.15) and Michael Turner (16.05) but it was not enough, as he likely falls out of the playoff competition at 4-7 with just 3 games left to go. In the other big game of the week for Week 11, ECCGrounds are on top as we speak 63.54 - 52.98 with still Jamal Lewis, Kellen Winslow, and Lee Evans left to play over the playerless Rowe's Pros. ECCGrounds still have an oustide chance to win the weekly payout needing around 30 points from the previously mentioned 3. ECCGrounds also has the likely Defensive Team of the Week, and the MVP for Week 11, these players will be anounced once monday night football is complete.

GORE POWERS EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH OVER THE FLASHES

Frank Gore's 19.70 points on sunday powered Employee Of The Month to a 72.55 - 57.26 victory over now 1-10 Flashes. Employee Of The Month improves to 7-4 and likely now in 4th place for the last playoff spot based on points. The win is Employee Of The Month's 3rd in row, and the loss for The Flashes is their 4th in arow. In the other two games which have yet to be decided with the monday night games, Spider Monkey's is down 9 to BuckeyeMike with still Marshawn Lynch left to play. A win by Spider Monkeys would be huge to keep his playoff hopes alive and only 1 back of the pack. In the last game with two toilet bowl participants AJ's All-Stars holds a 8 point lead on T & A, with still Braylon Edwards left to play, although with the possible snow in Buffalo who knows how much the Browns will throw. Check out the Monday night Game tonight to see how the rest of the Week 11 results will shake out. Come back tommorrow to get the complete Week 11 results, stay tuned...

BOLDIN TAKES KARDIAC KIDS TO WEEKLY PAYOUT

Anquan Boldin's 21.05 along with Tony Gonzalez's 24.64 lead The Kardiac Kids to a 117.34 - 61.55 win and the weekly payout for Week 10. This is the Kids 5th weekly payout of the year, which leaves him 1 short of the record of 6 weekly payouts set last year by Employee Of The Month. The Kids also had the Defensive Team of the Week for Week 10 with the New York Jets. This is the second such honor this year for the Jets who had only 3 points allowed, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 fumble recoveries, one which was returned for a TD which is all good for 13 points.

WARNER & BREASTON NOT ENOUGH FOR SPIDER MONKEYS

Kurt Warner's 20.56 points on monday night football was not enough for the Spider Monkeys who were down by alot, but still still fell by a bunch to Rowe's Pros 78.32 - 56.81. Steve Breaston also chipped in 11.55 for the Monkeys, as well as 8 from Neil Rackers. In the final game ECCGrounds fell short of the weekly payout to Kardiac Kids, but had a nice game for himself with a 108.26 - 37.75 victory over The Flashes. Larry Fitzgerald chipped in 12.45 last night, as well as 23.55 from Maurice Jones-Drew on sunday. There's only one last things to say, and thats giving the MVP of Week 10 to Thomas Jones with 27.45 points, his second MVP award of 2008. Jones had 149 rushing yards with 3 TDs on sunday afternoon which led Employee Of The Month to victory.

Nov 10 Update

BUCKEYEMIKE & JACOBS PUT AWAY AJ'S ALL-STARS, IN 1ST ALL ALONE

Brandon Jacobs 19.30 point game with 2 TDs puts away AJ's All-Stars in a 87.79 - 73.93 game putting BuckeyeMike in 1st place likely all alone at 8-2. Jay Feely also had a big game, in most likely the best game ever by a kicker with 17 points, which by himself won the game pretty much against AJ's All-Stars winning by 14 points. The loss sends AJ's All-Stars to 3-7 and a definite spot in the toilet bowl. Close on his heels is Kardiac Kids which will likely get the win over T & A, the game now at 96.29 - 61.55, Kardiac Kids also has a chance to win the weekly payout. The Kids got huge games from TE Tony Gonzalez with 24.65, and the NY Jets D with 13 pts likely to be the defensive Team Of The Week in Week 10.

TWO HEADED MONSTER AT RB IS ENOUGH FOR EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH OVER KILLER B'S

Adrian Peterson & Thomas Jones of Employee Of The Month combined for around 48 points, more than half of Employee Of The Month's 83.69 pts to take the victory over Killer B's 77.98 pts. Thomas Jones is likely to be the Week 10 MVP holding up 27.45 points with still the monday night games to be played. The win puts Employee Of The Month at 6-4 and 1 game out of a playoffs spot, while the loss puts Killer B's at 4-6 and 3 games out of a playoffs spot with just 4 games to go. Now a couple ugly games took place on sunday with The Flashes taking on ECCGrounds, and Rowe's Pros against Spider Monkeys. Obviously The Flashes have not changed their lineup at all resulting in 3 inactive players, and one player on a bye week. Althought if they did put active players into the lineup a combination would not overtake ECCGrounds 95.81 performance with still Larry Fitzgerald left to play battling Kardiac Kids for the Week 10 weekly payout. The 37.75 by the Flashes is one of the year's lowest, infact 2 points higher than the lowest output of the year. A pretty embarrasing loss for a team that will go to 1-9, and with 4 games to go needs a win if it doesn't want to tie for the worst record ever in a season. In the final game, between Rowe's Pros and Spinder Monkeys, another huge deficit this time at 59 points, 72.82 - 13.70. Rowe's Pros still has Tim Hightower to push the deficit even further. Althought the 13.70 points is pretty pitiful, keep in mind the Spider Monkeys still have Kurt Warner, Steve Breaston, Neil Rackers, and the Arizona D. If the results holds up, Rowe's Pros will improve to 7-3 and in the 4th playoffs spot based on points, and Spider Monkeys will go .500 at 5-5 and 2 spots out of a playoff spot with 4 to go. Stay tuned for the monday night football game results, althought unlikely to alter anthing that happened on Sunday.

Nov 4 Update

PITTSBURGH SHUTS DOWN KARDIAC KIDS, PORTIS & KILLER B's

The Pittsburgh Defense had alot to do with the Week 9 results as they dominate the Redskins with only 6 points allowed, 7 sacks, 2 interceptions all good for 12 pts to become the Defensive Team of The Week in Week 9. The Pittsburgh D carried Employee Of The Month to a weekly payout and more importantly a win over Kardiac Kids 97.58 - 91.07. The lose drops the Kids to 6-3 and in 2nd place based on points. The win carries Employee Of The Month to 5th and one behind the 3-way cluster of 6-3 filling 2nd through 4th. The Pittsburgh D also had a huge affect of holding Clinton Portis to 9.70 points, which was a solid game but not enough for Killer B's, as he falls to ECCGrounds 66.58 - 64.83. The win by ECCGrounds bolts him into 3rd place at 6-3, and the loss for Killer B's is a devastating one, sending him down to 4-5 and in 7th all alone. The win by ECCGrounds was helped by the MVP of Week 9 in Derrick Mason. Mason had 9 catches good for 136 yards and a touchdown which equals out to 19.30 pts.

WARD AND MOORE CAN'T GET IT DONE, KEEPS ROWE'S PROS IN TIE FOR 2ND

Hines Ward and Mewelde Moore combined for only around 7 points on monday night which came up 8 points behind AJ's All-Stars 54.94 - 46.62. The loss keeps Rowe's Pros in a tie by record for 2nd place at 6-3, but is now at 4th based on points. The win by AJ's All-Stars is his second straight win sending him to 3-6 and who knows if he keeps winning where he could end up at. In the other games, BuckeyeMike finishes off T & A 82.28 - 45.58 with Santana Moss doing nothing for T & A, not like it really mattered. In the final game, Spider Monkeys kept his slim lead over The Flashes, with Heath Miller doing absolutley nothing putting up a goose egg for the now 1-8 Flashes. The Spider Monkeys imprive to 5-4 which puts them right in the middle of things.

CHRIS JOHNSON POWERS KARDIAC KIDS, BUT MUST WATCH PITTSBURGH TONIGHT

Chris Johnson's 17.05 pts led Kardiac Kids attack on Employee Of the Month and led to a 91.07 - 85.58 lead going into monday night. Employee Of The Month still has Pittsbugh D left to play tonight to decide this huge game. The winner is also likely to win the weekly payout as well as other teams scored in the average 50's and 60's. In the other games involving 6-2 teams, Rowe's Pros is down 39.52 - 54.94 to AJ's All-Stars with still Mewelde Moore & Hines Ward left to play tonight. And the final 6-2 team, BuckeyeMike will likely hold on to his 74.38 - 43.88 lead over T & A with Chris Cooley left to play against T & A's Santana Moss which is just alittle bit to little to late. The impact of these three games are likely to shake things up at the top, we shall see by tommorrow....

COULD MASON's PERFORMANCE BE ALL FOR NOT?

Derrick Mason's 19.30 pts on sunday might be all for not if Killer B's superstar Clinton Portis, possibly the mid-season MVP, can score over 11 points on monday night. ECCGrounds holds that lead 66.58 - 55.13, and with a win can move to 6-3, but with a loss will go in a tie with Killer B's and possibly Employee Of The Month and Spider Monkeys if they can hold on all at 5-4. Speaking of the Spider Monkeys, in the final game, have the lead on The Flashes by 4 points with The Flashes's Heath Miller still left to play tonight with the score currently at 58.44 - 54.71. Pretty much every game has implications going into Monday Night Football, with a few much needed wins out there with only 5 games to go

Oct 28 Update

DOMINIC RHODES HELPS ECCGROUNDS SQUIRT BY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Dominic Rhodes solid game on monday night allows ECCGrounds to squirt by Employee Of The Month 55.46 - 55.31 to get to 4th place all alone at 5-3. The loss drops Employee Of The Month to 4-4 and 2 games behind the 3 way tie for first based on records. Reggie Wayne, and Adam Vinatieri could not get it done only combining for just under 6 pts.

TENNESSEE PUSHES ROWE'S PROS OVER T & A BY 3

Tennessee D and Rob Bironas led Rowe's Pros over the top to beat T & A 84.92 - 81.05. The win puts Rowe's Pros on the top of the heap in a 3 way tie based on records at 6-2. The loss is a big one for T & A who drops to 2-6 and likely out of it with 6 games to go. In the final 2 games, Kardiac Kids blows up for 117.73 with the extra help from 12 pts from Chris Johnsons on monday night to grab the highest point total of the year so far. The 117.73 did fall just 2 back of making the top 10 of all-time in points scored by a team in a game. The win by Kardiac Kids with the combined loss from BuckeyeMike ties the 2 teams at 6-2 along with Rowe's Pros, but with the big point total, Karadiac Kids jumps into first based on points. Kardiac Kid's Anquan Boldin was the MVP in Week 8 with 30 rushing yds, 9 catches for 63 yds and 2 TDs which is good for 21.15 pts.

In the last game, AJ's All-Stars were down by over 10, but big games by Dallas Clark (20.20) and LenDale White (13.20) gave AJ's All-Stars his 2nd win of the year with a 95.84 - 76.00 victory over The Flashes. AJ's All-Stars also got help on sunday from the Defensive Team of the Week in Week 8, the New England Patriots. The Pats allowed 16 points, had 4 sacks, and 1 pick which is all good for 6 points.

Oct 27 Update

BOLDIN, BREES, & TOMLINSON  ALL CONTRIBUTE BIG TO KARDIAC KIDS WIN

Anquan Boldin had a huge game of 21.15 on his comeback from his brutal hit a few weeks ago. Drew Brees had 19.48, & LT had 19 both while playing in London. These three big games has Kardiac Kids at 104.93 with still Chris Johnson still left to play tonight. The lead is around 50 points of the complete BuckeyeMike. The likely win will put Kardiac Kids in 1st place based on points and in a tie with BuckeyeMike in records with both likely at 6-2. BUSH, MARSHALL LEAD BUCKEYEMIKE TO 3-0

BuckeyeMike becomes the 1st 3-0 team with a 89.60 - 65.30 victory over now 1-2 ECCGrounds. Both Brandon Marshall (18.75) and Reggie Bush (23.90) came up with big games for Buckeye who is the leader in points for this week so far with 89.60 with still the monday night games to be played.

RONNIE BROWN EXPLODES FOR 36.98, BUT LEFT ON BENCH

Ronnie Brown helped the Dolphins grab a dominating upset win over the to much talked about Pats. Unfortunely for T & A, Ronnie Brown was watching from the sidelines. Although it sure would have helped you can't dispute that Brian Westbrook and Marion Barber were the wrong plays. Brown's 36.98 points on 113 yards rushing with 4 rushing TDs, 1 catch for 9 yards, and throwing a TD pass for 19 yards would have been the 4th highest score by a player if T & A had played him. The non-play of Ronnie Brown likely gives Spider Monkey's the win over T & A, his team has played all their games for 69 points to T & A's 49.7 with just Nate Kaeding to play this evening. AJ's All-Stars also is pretty much done down 82.50 to 64.80 to Kardiac Kids with the Kid's still having LT, when complete weather he plays or not, Kardiac Kids will join BuckeyeMike at 3-0. The Flashes are in the same boat as AJ's All-Stars as both would be 0-3 with a loss is down to The Killer B's 68.80 - 57.10. The B's just have San Diego Chargers D to play, but as I said is pretty much going to win. In the final game in the closest of the week, Employee Of The Month is up 41.00 - 29.30 (12 point lead) with Thomas Jones & Jerricho Cotchery or Chris Chambers for the Employee Of The Month's against Rowe's Pros Philip Rivers & Antonio Gates to play.

Sept 16 Update

T.O. & MCNABB NOT ENOUGH FOR KILLER B'S, KARDIAC KIDS NOW 2-0

T.O. & McNabb's combined 27.7 points was not enough for Killer B's as he falls to Kardiac Kids 97.62 - 82.27 to join BuckeyeMike as the only 2-0 teams in the league. Kardiac Kids got major help from huge games from Calvin Johnson (23.45) and also the Week 2 MVP Anquan Boldin. The MVP had 6 catches for 140 yds, and 3 TD's all good for 30 points, which is the highest point total for a player this year. Look out league, Kardiac Kids has not even gotten LT rolling and he's in 1st. Kardiac Kids also wins the weekly payout for Week 2 with 97.62 beating out too close teams by less than 1 and 3.

In the other games that were completed with the Monday night results was Employee Of The Month coming oh so close to the weekly payout with less than a point with 96.85 to beat The Flashes 83.34. Employee Of The Month moves in 1st in point total but remains 1-1 and at 3rd overall. The Flashes fall to 0-2. In the final game, T & A scored 97.28 with help from Marion Barber and Brian Westbrook on Monday night football. Both those two are the 2 top backs in the league and they will be a force this year for T & A going forward. T & A also got a big game from his defensive, the Seattle Seahawks who took Defensive Team of the Week honors for Week 2. The Seahawks had 27 points allowed, but also had 8 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery ran back for a TD all good for 12 points. AJ's All-Stars falls to 0-2 in the loss to T & A.

Well thats it for Week 2, everything including team pages, league leaders, and all other results for Week 2 are complete. Please get your emails in for your waiver picks. stay tuned...

Aug 28 Update

After a few days of trials and tribulations of entering our offline draft results, yahoo and myself have found a solution and the entire 2008 offline draft results are in. One thing needs to happen to complete the entire process and thats the trade between Employee Of The Month and ECCGrounds of their 6th round draft pick for a 18th rounder. Once that is complete we can begin our 7th season of Fantasy Football. The 2008 Draft results have been posted on our site by clicking on the 2008 Draft Results in the left border. I have also updated all the current rosters on the team pages, as well as logged all the draft locations of every player taken in the player section. The schedule is up also in the 2008 section. The rules and league settings section also have been updated with new explantions of the rule changes. This year i will try to have an update out of the weekend before the monday night game, as well as by the time i get all the waiver picks on the tuesday at noon deadline and send out the results of the pickups i will also have the website updated from the weekend. Hopefully this keep everyone coming back at a certain time every week to see the progress of the 2008 Season. Well, I think thats about all, the only thing left is the games to start! Good Luck to everyone this coming year!

July 31 Update

Back with another update, Keeper night was held tonight, and most of the keepers are in. Please check out each team's page for their current keepers, or check your email for a spreadsheet with a draft worksheet with the keepers of every team. There was also a trade involving Employee Of the Month & ECCGrounds. Employee of the Month traded the draft rights in the 5th round of Kellen Winslow and the 18th round draft pick for ECCGrounds's 6th round draft pick. Next up is the August 23rd Draft at the Hyla household. The draft will begin at around 530, so please be there on time, as well as with the entry money. Also, Jim Hyla will be taking over for as long as needed for Mike Young as he is 50/50 at this point of going to China for 4-6 months. Well hope to see you all at the draft, until than later.

June 3 Update

Welcome back to Red Tail Fantasy Football, our 7th year of existence! Rowe's Pros has won back to back titles, can he complete the Threepeat? The new football season is just around the corner, so i think its time to do a little updating with the site, as well as setting up for this coming season. Yahoo has not opened up its fantasy football site yet, but when they do you can be sure to get a confirmation for that. I have set a weekend target date, so clear your calenders for August 23rd weekend, probably the 23rd at around 5:30pm, the Browns play at Detriot in a exhibition game at 4 that afternoon. The Keeper night will be Tuesday, July 30th at B-Dubs in Avon Lake. In case anyone forgot, this night is set aside in order to find out who everyone kept, and also a place to speak freely about new ideas, or problems about the league. This is not mandatory, so if you cannot attend you may phone in your keepers, or email me them. The deadline for keepers that night is 11:00 pm. Same rules apply as last year, just check the website www.hylafantasy.net. Right now I am in progress of updating the website to 2008, everything related to players on their new NFL teams are updated as of June 1.If there is anything in which you have an issue with, or possible rule changes please let me know during these next 2 weeks, I will send out another email with everyones possible ideas of changing a rule on June 17 so everyone can vote if needed, as well as the final time and date of the 2008 draft. I will also send out a sheet like i did last year of your available keepers and various other league information also on June 17. This will give u alittle more than a month to look over any rule changes, as well as being able to decide on keepers, and also possible trades right up until draft day. Please be prompt in your response, i will be giving everyone pretty much 2 weeks for this initial email. I will also send everyone a txt message with a reminder of the sent email, and when its close to being due. Hopefully this year will be as fun as the 6 previous years, i have no doubts it will. Good Luck to everyone this year....
