SEASON WRAP-UP

Congrats goes out to G & A who won the Toilet Bowl over Hooked On Roberts, 56.61 - 45.29. Usually Week 17 is the Pro Bowl with the best players on the season divided into 2. However this year, with Christmas and a vacation to end the year I will probaly not have the time to set that up. I will be naming an MVP though at the end of Week 17. I will have the payouts for everyone who comes to the Super Bowl party on Feburary 1st. I will be looking to improve the web site in the future making it easier to update, as well as a possible new look. Thanks everyone for another great season.

HURRICANES COME BACK TO WIN AND TAKE 1ST PLACE

Aaron Rodgers Week 14

The Hurricanes came back from 47 down to win Week 14, 101.09 - 99.19 over G & A, and finish 1st overall. Aaron Rodgers had a huge game with 21.94 points to lead the way to back. Rodgers had 28 rushing yards, 327 passing yards, and 3 TDs. He also had big games from Calvin Johnson (19.9), Eddy Lacy (19.8), and Alshon Jeffrey (13.75). With the win the Hurricanes finish 11-3 and take the first place prize money. In the tight loss, G & A had 3 20 point scorers in AJ Green, Odell Beckham, and DeMarco Murray. Green had 11 catches for 224 yards and a TD for 27.70 points. Murray had 9 catches for 49 yards, and 179 rushing yards with a TD for 23.90 points. Odell Beckham had 9 rushing yards, 11 catches for 130 yards, and a TD for 20.45 points. G & A still lead the all-time series 7-2, and close out the year at 7-7 which was good for 6th place.

CREME DE LA CREME BREAKS RECORDS WITH MASSIVE WEEK 14 WIN

LeVeon Bell Week 14

Creme De La Creme made a statement in week 14 with 142.81 points to break the single game record for points in a game. The previous record held for 10 years as Rowe's Pros scored 136.45 back in 2004. Creme also finished with the 2nd highest point total in league history with 1290.94 points, which is 127 points off the all-time record set last year. Unfortutnely, 3rd place was the highest Creme could finish as he finished the season at 9-5 with a 142.81 - 89.53 victory over Rodgerz Boyz. The loss by the Boyz knocked them out of the playoffs finishing the year on 8-6. LeVeon Bell led the team with 34.75 points just outside the top 25 individual point scorers of all-time. Bell had 185 rushing yards,6 catches for 50 yards, and 3 total TDs. Jordy Nelson was the next player over 20 points with 8 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs all good for 25.30. Russell Wilson was next up with 263 passing yards, 48 rushing yards, a rushing TD, and 2 TD passes for 21.66. Finally, the 4th player over 20 points was CJ Anderson who had 58 rushing yards, and 3 TDs for 20.90 points. Adding to the point total was Greg Olsen (14.6), Mason Crosby (11), and Detriot D (10). In the tough luck loss TY Hilton led the Boyz with 10 catches for 150 yards, a fumble loss, and 2 TDs for 25.50 points. He also had Andrew Luck (18.73), and Matt Forte (16). The all-time series has been dominated by Creme De La Creme, 5-0.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH COMES UP JUST SHORT OF 1ST

Matt Ryan Week 14

Employee of the Month did their job in Week 14 scoring 110.75 points with a win over The Flashes, 110.75 - 28.98. But because he was still around 20 points short of the Hurricanes in the total points column, his hope for a Hurricanes loss did not come true with the Canes winning by 2 points. Employee Of The Month finished with the same record, 11-3 finishing 2nd based on points. The Flashes had a dismal last game scoring only 28.98 points, which is the 4th worst single game output of all-time and finishing the season at 2-12. Matt Ryan led the way in the win with 25.65 points on 23 rushing yards, 375 passing yards, an interception, and 4 TDs. He also had Jamaal Charles (18.55), Andre Williams (16.85), Rob Gronkowski (14.35) and Antonio Brown (12.35) with games over 10. In the loss, the flashes really didn't have much to talk about. The all-time series in dominated by Employee Of The Month, 14-5.

KRAMERIA INDUSTRIES HOLDS STRONG AT #4

Julio Jones Week 14

Kramerica Industries held on strong to the #4 spot as he beat ECCGrounds, 97.1 - 60.63 in Week 14. Julio Jones had a monster game with 29.45 points on 11 catches for 259 yards, and a TD. He also had great games from Arain Foster (16.4) and Mike Evans (16.25. ECCGrounds finished his dismal season with good games from Martavius Bryant (15.45), and Marshawn Lynch (13.15). The Grounds finished the year with a 6 game losing streak, and 3-11. Kramerica finished at 9-5 and has beaten the Grounds twice this year.

The playoffs are about to begin with #1 Hurricanes taking on #4 Krameria Industries, while #2 Employee Of The Month takes on #3 Creme De La Creme. Here are the final standings of 2014:

HOOKED ON ROBERTS ENDS YEAR ON HIGH NOTE

Tom Brady Week 14

Hooked on Roberts finished on a high note to end the year with a 62.74 - 56.61 victory over Killer B's. Roberts had 3 players over 10 points with Tom Brady (15.69), St. Louis D (13), and Justin Forsett (10.9). In the loss, Killer B's only had Julian Edelman (19.25) over 10 points. The all-time series lead is now tied at 3-3. This game does not end the season for both teams, as they will both be in the toilet bowl, which elimnates ECCGrounds and The Flashes. Killer B's has finished the year on a 6-8 record while Hooked On Roberts has finished 4-10.

The playoffs seeding has gotten a bit more clear as the Rodgerz Boyz look to be out of playoff considerations with a loss and a Krameria Industries win over ECCGrounds. So we have our 4 teams with the seeding still to be decided. Looking at the 4 seed, Kramerica is firmly planted as he is 47.74 points behind current #3 seed holder Creme De La Creme. Creme still has Jordy Nelson and Mason Crosby while Kramerica still has Julio Jones. This scenerio looks like it will hold true. Their opponents might be a bit closer with Employee Of The Month currently in the #1 seed and the Hurricanes a close #2. Employee of the Month has the win in hand with Matt Ryan and Randall Cobb to add to his point total. The Hurricanes currently are behind by 47.74 points to G & A with Aaron Rodgers, Eddy Lacy, and the Green Bay defense yet to play. The point difference is currently 12.09 between the two that might come into consideration if the Canes come back and win. So with all that said, for the Hurricanes to take back the #1 seed they must have Rodgers, Lacy, and Green Bay D score over 47.74 points and keep the now slim lead in points between the 2 currently at 12.09. I will be back with a comprehensive season wrap-up and playoff preview by the end of Wednesday, Good Luck to all!

Sept 9 Update

MEGATRON LEADS HIGH SCORING WIN FOR ECCGROUNDS

Calvin Johnson Week 1

After Hooked on Roberts scored 98.38 points on Sunday, ECCGrounds had Rashad Jennings, Victor Cruz, Detroit D, and Calvin Johnson left on Monday night to charge back. They did just that as Calvin Johnson led with 25.70 points on 7 catches for 164 yeards and 2 TDs. Out of the monday night crew Rashad Jennings also had 12.8. The Grounds also had good games from Nick Foles (13.44), and Kendall Wright (11.3). He got a great game from Marshawn Lynch on opening night, with Lynch putting up 110 rushing yards, 1 catch for 14 yards, and 2 TDs all good for 20.70 points. Hooked On Roberts had a great Sunday but it just wasn't enough. Julius Thomas led all scorers for Roberts with 28.70 points on 7 catches for 104 yards and 3 TDs, good for the highest total of Week 1. He also had good games from Roddy White (12.1), Shane Vareen (12.05), and Houston D (11). Looking at this series history it might have been a forgone conclusion the Grounds would take this one, as he now leads 6-0 all-time.

G & A COME JUST SHORT OF WEEKLY PAYOUT, BEAT RODGERZ BOYZ

Matthew Stafford Week 1

G & A scored 105.27 points in Week 1, just short of the weekly payout for Week 1. The out come was a victory none the less over Rodgerz Boyz 105.27 - 64.85. Matthew Stafford put a cherry on top with a 25.02 point performance on 2 rushing yards and rushing TD, 346 passing yards and 2 passing TDs to go along with a 2 point conversion. There was also support from AJ Green (17.8), DeMarco Murray (15.65), Brandon Marshall (12.55), and CJ Spiller (10.7). In the loss, the Boyz only had one player over 10 points and that was Andrew Luck with 22.35. Luck had 19 rushing yards and a rushing TD, and 370 passing yards with 2 TD passes with 2 interceptions. The loss to G & A is alot like the first game's history, as G & A now holds a 5-0 advantage all-time.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH LEADS EARLY AND OFTEN IN WEEK 1

Matt Ryan Week 1

Employee Of The Month had a huge game over Creme De La Creme 98.46 - 67.77 in Week 1. Matt Ryan started off Week 1 with an impressive game scoring 26.71 points on 448 passing yards, 15 rushing yards, and 4 TD passes. Also contributing was Antonio Brown (16.3), Chris Johnson (13.05), Randall Cobb (11.9), and Rob Gronkowski (10). In the loss, Creme had a few good performance s with Greg Olsen (14.15), Russell Wilson (13.27), Monte Ball (11.15), and Michael Floyd (10.55). The rest of the team put up dissapointing numbers by scoring less than 20 points. The all-time series is now in favor of Employee Of The Month 2-1.

KRAMERICA INDUSTRIES GETS 1ST EVER WIN IN NAILBITER

Vernon Davis Week 1

Kramerica Industries first year in the Red Tail Baggers Fantasy Football league started off with a nailbiter as he just barely held off The Flashes, 67.88 - 67.21. The game was decided by a Keenan Allen drop in the 4th quarter of the last monday night game. A catch by Allen likely would have won it for The Flashes. Vernon Davis led the way with 16.2 points, while Jay Cutler (14.98) and James Jones (10.3) chipped in with pretty good games. The Flashes started off with LeVeon Bell who was all over the field with 20.85 points. Bell had 6 catches for 88 yards, 109 rushing yards and a TD. The Flashes also got some help from Drew Brees (11.76) and Cody Parkey (10) but it wasn't enough.

KILLER B'S OUTLAST THE HURRICANES IN LOW SCORING AFFAIR

Peyton Manning Week 1

Killer B's opened this season as Red Tail Bagger Champion and he defended that honor with a week 1 victory. It wasn't pretty but he got the job done. Peyton Manning led the way yet again coming off the 2013 MVP season with 17.23 points. He also had support from Matt Forte (12.45) but hardly anything else from the likes of Jordan Reed (0.7) and St. Louis D (1). In the loss the Hurricanes only had 2 players in double figures with Cordelle Patterson (15.9) and Zack Ertz (11.35). The all-time series is now tied at 4 a piece.

Looking ahead to next week, there is only one battle of the un-beatens with Employee Of The Month battling Killer B's, while Hooked On Roberts take on the Hurricanes to try to get their first win. Here is the updated standings after the Week 1 Results:
